    The hotel pricing we got was great value for money we paid. Location was a bit far away from the center, far away from public transportation an Uber ride of Euro 6-10 for a distance of 3-4km. Once you add in that additional cost the price advantage drops drastically. An additional note to the travellers. If you are a couple or group, to travel from hotel in Sintra to Lisbon (or vice versa) it is cheaper using Uber/Bolt (cost us around Euro 14 for a journey of 30km) and less effort and time consuming than public transportation.

    Basic hotel as expected of an Ibis. Stayed for one night to visit Sintra / Pena palace instead of driving back to Lisbon. Parking is a plus and easy enough to get a bolt/uber to Pena palace. (Easier than trying to park in the town). Beds and bedding were way too soft. Left with back ache. Air conditioning had a musty snell - not so much to be a problem but noticeable. Bathroom was like a cruise ship bathroom.
