    I would like to lodge a formal complaint regarding the unacceptable condition of the hotel room and the poor response from the hotel’s customer service. The room was extremely unhygienic. There were numerous hairs accumulated around and inside the bathroom floor trap/drain, clearly indicating that the bathroom had not been properly cleaned before our check-in. We also found multiple small cockroaches crawling around the room, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel accommodation. We reported these issues to the hotel’s customer service. However, instead of addressing the cleanliness and pest problem professionally, the staff responded rudely and told us that if we wanted to change to another room, we would have to pay additional money for an upgrade. We should not be required to pay extra simply to receive a clean, hygienic and pest-free room, which is a basic standard that should have been provided under our original booking. I have photo/video evidence showing the condition of the bathroom and the cockroaches in the room. I request Agoda to investigate this property and take appropriate action. I also request a refund or appropriate compensation considering the unacceptable hygiene conditions and the hotel’s failure to provide a reasonable solution after the matter was reported.
