    The location is off the main area of Hunter Valley cellar doors, but the good thing is, it's quite. Even with a restaurant and bar in the resort, we barely heard any noise in the evening. The resort also offered us a complementry guided tour which is a surprise for us. Room is cozy, clean and tidy on our arrival. Very smooth check in, actually smooth on everything, the tour, the restaurant, everything. Lovely people here made our trip feels even better. Will sure to stay again!

    Great Resort, lots of things to do. Our only complaint was how cold the dining room was when having dinner. But it was ok when we had breakfast the next morning, so they obviously turned in the heating. God knows why it wasn’t on in the evening, you shouldn’t have to wear a winter coat while dining. 🥴

    Stayed 1 night on a quick Hunter Valley weekend. Enjoyed our stay, had a great pizza and beer for dinner and a fantastic sleep in the super comfy bed.

    Overall, it was a good stay. The location is convenient, about a 10-minute drive from Hunter Valley Gardens. The room was clean but very basic. On the first night, there was a water leak in the shower, which resulted in very low water pressure. We also requested an extra bath mat, but they did not have enough available, so we had to use a bath towel as a mat on the second night. We couldn’t use the swimming pool because there was very little shade, and the sun was too strong for children, making it uncomfortable to sit outside. There is a restaurant within walking distance, offering a good variety of food. The quality was average, and prices were quite high. However, the portions were very large — I ordered one main dish and was able to share it with my 8-year-old daughter. Overall, a decent stay with a good location, but some facilities and amenities could be improved.
