    Had a great overnight stay .Dinner and breakfast were great and we enjoyed the walk around the farm with our friends and their kids. Would definately recommend to others

    We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Hunter Valley Farms. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, relaxed and welcoming, and it was exactly the kind of place you want to discover when spending a weekend in the Hunter Valley. A special mention has to go to Dennis, who made the wine tasting particularly enjoyable. His knowledge, personality and easy-going approach turned what could have simply been a tasting into a genuinely memorable experience. He clearly knows his wines and, more importantly, knows how to make people feel welcome while enjoying them. The wines themselves offered plenty of character and variety, with some interesting blends and flavours. There were a couple where we detected a rather familiar Golden Circle influence — an intriguing little twist that certainly gave us something to talk about and added to the fun of the tasting! Overall, Hunter Valley Farms delivered a wonderful experience. Great wines, beautiful surroundings, friendly people and a relaxed atmosphere — with Dennis being a definite highlight. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine, enjoyable Hunter Valley experience.

    The resort itself offers a few interesting activities, particularly for families with young children, which is definitely a plus. Unfortunately, the rooms were quite dated and didn’t quite live up to the photos advertised. A refresh would certainly help improve the overall guest experience. One suggestion for management would be to coordinate with Google Maps to correct the navigation directions. The suggested route took us on an unnecessarily roundabout journey, which can be quite stressful for guests unfamiliar with the area. Overall, the resort has potential, but improvements to the accommodation and accessibility would make for a much better stay.
