Staff was rude upon checking in. They wanted to charge a $200 deposit, because I live locally. They waived the fee, but told me "dont f*ck up my room." My reservation was for a queen size bed, the bed in my room was a full. The guy at the front desk told me "there's nothing he can do about it." The security doors that usually require a key card to open, were completely broken, allowing anyone to have access to the hotel. There was a transient sleeping on the stairs in the hallway all night. Also, the door handles on my room, and several other rooms near mine...the screws had been removed, making the locks on the doors worthless. Needless to say, I didn't sleep well. The hotel needs a lot of work done, and making sure that guests are safe...should be a priority!

My stay was generaly great. The complaints I have are the coffee kcups provided in the room were all the hazelnut flavor which i hate, no big deal. I went to to the front desk to get another flavor. The front desk had many kcups, all of which were hazelnut. The second issue was there was a pool of water on the floor when i checked in. Again no big deal, i just wiped it up. House keeping should have been sure the room was ready to be released to a customer. The pool of water was not hidden and was easy to see. Over all i had a decent stay, breakfast was good although some bacon would have been nice, lol. Like every hotel,there was noise from neighbors and the hallway.

This property is very dated, and you can tell it's not a high priority to spruce it up. It was clean, but holes in the bathroom door, gaps in the room doors, and little details like that bring down the perception. The staff, however, were kind and helpful. I had to have them change my room--1, because the suite I had reserved (with a soaking tub) was not what I got (that suite has been removed, but the corporate site won't take it down), but also, the floor had 3 sections, joined by very large wooden slats that stuck up over an inch. With mobility challenges, that was a nightmare to try to navigate. The staff was very helpful and got me into another room that was safer for me. Overall, a suitable stay that was low frills but clean and quite.
