I booked two rooms at Hotello Guest House in Ghadir, and my stay was a nightmare from start to finish.
1. Unhygienic Conditions: Upon arrival, we discovered dirty, stained bed sheets and pillow covers. Shockingly, the staff refused to replace them, claiming they were “waiting for new linens ordered from China.” Basic cleanliness is a minimum expectation, and this disregard for hygiene was appalling.
2. Poorly Designed Rooms:The wardrobes were awkwardly placed at a high level on both sides of the bed, making them impossible to use safely. When I asked reception for assistance, the staff dismissed me with, “You need to ask the engineer about that”—a baffling response for a simple design flaw.
3. Misleading Breakfast Policy: On the first day, reception assured us that breakfast could be requested “whenever you wake up” and would be delivered to our room. However, on our final morning, when we called to order breakfast, the receptionist rudely informed us that breakfast “ends at 10 AM” and refused to accommodate us, despite no prior mention of a cutoff time.
4. Inflexible Checkout: To cap it all off, the staff refused a reasonable checkout extension on our last day, even though no policy restricting this was communicated earlier despite we arrived for checking in at 8 pm.

Very good hotel with very nice staff. Location is very good as very close to highway and in the centre of Jounieh area. Facilities are new and were kept clean throughout the stay. I recommend ✌🏼
