    My partner and I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Wohnen and an overall unforgettable experience in Hakuba. The staff are unbelievably accommodating with quite possibly the best hotel breakfast I've had in Japan. The place is located just a short walk from the Echoland main street and the bus stop for the free shuttle to Goryu is directly opposite the hotel. We usually like to stay at different places when we revisit a holiday spot but honestly, for a trip to Hakuba I'd 100% head back to Hotel Wohnen. We miss you Kenji!

    Beautifully built hotel, really helpful and friendly atmosphere set by the owners / staff. Conveniently situated near Echoland for food options and with a shuttle bus to Iimori / Hakuba 47 literally opposite the hotel, it was perfect for us. Picked us up and dropped us back off at Hakuba station which was really helpful. Breakfast was very good and being able to book the Onsen for 45 minutes each evening for use by the room was also awesome after a long days skiing with sore muscles. Highly recommend.

    We loved our stay at Hotel Wohnen! Their unparalleled care to every one of their guests and their down to earth homey design of the living space and the cuisine truly made it a very lovely and unique to stay in Hakuba. We loved the little touches like the fireplace, private saunas and baths where you can reserve a day in advance using a magnet system, a lounge area with lovely snacks and tea, and a dedicated laundry and ski equipment area with good heating. The cuisine at their restaurant Chubo was also exquisite. If you’re looking for a homey nutritious meal with a dash of local flavour look no further. We enjoyed their daily breakfast which was nutritious perfect before your day of ski. Thank you to Megumi and the rest of the staff for tending to our needs whenever we need a ride from the local bus stop, or when we need help with calling taxis, or when our ski equipment failed us, they are always ready to help. We loved our stay at Hakuba and thank you to these lovely staff it made our stay even more memorable.

    We booked a room for 4 adults and 2 children through Agoda, but upon arrival, it seemed the hotel had only booked for 4 adults. However, the staff was very accommodating and allowed our two children to stay without extra charges—just a small additional fee for their breakfast. The service was outstanding, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel’s atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making our experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a great stay and truly appreciated the excellent customer service. We will definitely be back!
