    I stayed at the hotel for one night. It is located near Downtown. The room was kept clean. I liked the hot spring on the top floor. I had a great view of Kumamoto Castle from the hot spring, and the sauna was also great.

    We had 10-day travel in June/July mainly in Kumamoto, Kurokawa, Yatsushiro Shi and our last night was staying nearby Fukuoka Airport. Comparing all the hotels we stayed at, we won't consider staying at KOKO Hotel Kumamoto Kamitori in the future due to our experiences of staying at this hotel: 1. its location is nearby Toricho Suki bus stop and can be arrived from Fukuoka Airport by highway bus easily with 2500 Yen; 2. the breakfast is not included so we didn't purchase nor try it; 3. has only one wall plug in the room (the other is in the bathroom)! How people nowadays can survive by charging only one device; 4. the room is the smallest among all four hotels we stayed in; 5. the room has limited desk space for working; 6. while we understand the power plus specs are different from country to country, I don't know why a hotel cannot simply use a generic global wall panel to make travellers more convenient when a room has only one plug.

    We recently stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent, with restaurants, shopping, and public transport all within easy walking distance. Having a 7-Eleven conveniently located near the foyer was also a great bonus. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed. The only minor issue was that the room felt a little crowded when trying to unpack our suitcases due to the additional chair and footrest. We asked the staff to remove them, and they were very accommodating and happy to help. Once removed, we didn’t miss them at all and had plenty of space. The onsen was clean, well-maintained, and a relaxing way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Throughout our stay, the staff were friendly, helpful, and eager to assist with any requests. If I were to mention one small area for improvement, it would be that the reception area had a slightly unusual smell at times. Overall, this was a very enjoyable stay in a fantastic location. We would happily stay here again and would recommend it to others visiting the area.
