Generally our stay was good, rooms were clean and located conveniently near the station. The only negative feedback was the maintenance of the coin laundry. The machine was not well maintained, and rather dirty. The dryer was clearly not working well, our clothes came out damp, even though it was just half a load! Bare in mind we extended the drying time and even our standard cotton t-shirts were still damp. Another negative encounter was how the staff dealt with this mishap. We raised this to them. And yet, we were getting the impression they were doubting us, even telling us the machine was overloaded. They did not deal with the issue well. After discussing with the manager, the only solution they could provide was to give us more hangers to dry our clothes in our room, and give us a location of a coin laundry nearby the hotel. Our clothes were damp and stank! We paid about 900 yen. The least they could offer was to redo the laundry for us, or provide us with the refund as clearly the machine did not do a good job! Their communication and management of issues needs much improvement.

I am extremely disappointed with the internal communication at this hotel. The manager in charge on the day of my inquiry went on leave without properly handing over the customer’s request to other supervisors. Whether through email responses, phone calls, or direct communication at the hotel, the staff consistently handled the situation in a very evasive and dismissive manner instead of trying to solve the problem properly. The management team is extremely poor. This is honestly the worst hotel I have ever experienced in terms of crisis management and customer support.
