Hotel Trinetar Resort

We booked this hotel with Booking ID: 2026251420 on June 25 paying full booking amount of arount 3800 online and got booking confirmation receipt from Agoda. When we reached the hotel at around 9.15 pm, the person at the counter bluntly refused to let us check saying that they they don't accept bookings by Agoda! This was very scary as it was quite late at night and we were extremely tired after Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra. We had to indulge in very unpleasant argument with the staff requesting them to respect the booking confirmation received by Agoda. Finally they agreed to check their system and found the confirmation there. Then they started blaming Agoda saying that it has booked through some other travel partner etc. Finally after about 30 minutes of very unplesant arguments, they let us check in and we heaved a sigh of relief. The location of the property is good. But there are many narrow diversions on the approaching tiled road and GPS tends to lead you to one of these. This happened with us and we reached a point from where returning back was a very difficult job. If you are driving to this property, please always stick to the tiled road. After checking in at around 10 pm, we enquired about hot water and were told that the hot water comes in morning only. We were keen at taking bath before going to sleep, but could not due to unavailability of hot water. As promised hot water (almost boiling) came in all the taps including in toilet jet in the morning but very strangely there was only hot water and no cold water. The water was so hot, we could not take bath in the morning either. We have not seen such thing in our long history of travel! But these are minor issues and can be ignored. But the check-in scare can definitely be not. We hope that the staff at Hotel Trinetra Resort will not traumatise their guests by summarily rejecting confirmed bookings.
