⭐ **1 Star – Extremely Poor Staff Behaviour and Management**
We booked this hotel through Agoda after seeing its good ratings online, but the actual experience was extremely disappointing.
We arrived at 5:30 AM on 2nd October and paid ₹1,000 for early check-in without any objection. At the same time, we clearly discussed our plan to check out in the evening of 3rd October, specifically asking about additional charges to avoid any confusion later. The staff member agreed to it.
However, on 3rd October, when we returned around 1 PM, another staff member insisted that we had to check out as per hotel policy. When confronted, the staff member we had spoken to initially acknowledged the conversation but conveniently changed his statement, claiming he thought we meant the evening of 2nd October. Seriously, if we planned to leave on 2nd October itself, why would we pay for early check-in?
Eventually, we paid another ₹1,000 to stay until 5 PM. Their internal miscommunication and poor management cost us both money and valuable sightseeing time in Chittorgarh, forcing us to change our plans.
To make matters worse, even after paying everything, we were stopped while the cleaning staff checked the room, making us feel as though we were suspected of stealing or damaging their cheap belongings. We have stayed at many hotels, but never experienced such insulting treatment.
**The issue was never about paying extra; it was about the staff's false assurances, changing statements, and unprofessional behaviour.** Such poor coordination and treatment are absolutely unacceptable for a hotel with good online ratings. Don't let those ratings fool you. Confirm everything in writing before booking!
