I stayed at Tagomago for 3 nights mid August and can recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to stay away from the parties and busy streets of San Antonio.
It’s located literally on the beach and offers great views of the bay.
I mostly chilled by the pool with an occasional dip in the sea.
The staff at reception and cleaners are fantastic. I checked in at 4am in the morning due to a flight delay and it was promptly and without any issues.
The guys at the bar are the kindest especially Edu who was always friendly, smiling and makes the best iced coffees and pina coladas!
Try and get a room that’s not overlooking the main road as it gets noisy from the cars.
I sleep with earplugs so didn’t bother me, but keep in mind the traffic noise.
The room was clean, shower worked well and aircon was perfect.
Breakfast is ok with plenty of food to choose from but my favourite were the fresh foods. The wide variety of non-dairly milk was very much appreciated.
One very important thing - there’s a shower room you could use once you’ve checked out. My return flight was late in the evening so after a whole day by the pool it was nice to get a shower before heading to the airport.
Overall a very decent hotel which I recommend and will be happy to return to :)
