    The hotel did not recognize my Agoda booking and claimed the reference/booking number had no relevance. Despite Agoda’s instruction that payment was to be made at the property, the hotel refused to honor my booking and asked me to book directly with them. I was left searching late in the evening for another hotel and had to pay much higher. I reported this to Agoda, but I’m not sure where my complaint stands. Sharing this to alert other travelers.

    For the amount we paid for one night at Tier2/3 city, the facilities and amenities they offered were sub standard. Plus the room was not properly insulated as well due to which we had to face many health issues due to cold. This was a last minute booking due to my cancellation of the previous hotel
