I had a very disappointing and unpleasant experience at this hotel, particularly because of a serious safety issue that resulted in an injury.
There was a swing installed outside the room. The floor around the swing had brick-like tiles that were not properly fixed or secured to the floor; they were simply placed there. While I was swinging, 8-10 tiles loose tiles came off and 2 fell on me, causing a significant injury to my shoulder.
What was even more disappointing was the response from the receptionist. He did not even ask me what had happened or whether I was okay. I instinctively put my hand on my head while incident, although the injury was actually on my shoulder and not my head. Instead of checking my condition or listening to what I was trying to explain, he simply said “koi baat nahi” and then blamed me, saying that it was my fault because I was using the swing.
This response was extremely insensitive. A guest had just been injured on the hotel premises, and the first response should have been concern and assistance—not blame.
Later, while speaking with the room service staff, I came to know that similar incidents had apparently happened twice before as well. Despite being aware of these incidents, the hotel had still not properly replaced or secured the tiles, nor taken adequate preventive measures such as installing fibre/protective covering.
This makes the situation even more concerning. If the management was already aware that the same issue had caused incidents in the past, why was no proper corrective action taken?

A nice property with all the modern facilities located in a prime location in Kota, but secretly away from its hustle and bustle. I really like the hospitality of the staff and the owner, Keshu Singh Ji, it was overall nice experience.
Room for improvement?
Yes, the food quality is not upto the mark, and the price is a little on the higher side given the taste and quantity. Wait time is a little too much.

I had a very relaxing and comfortable stay at the Sukhdham Kothi. The hotel is very welcoming, homely and feels like a special treat. Somewhere to recharge and wind down from visiting the bustle of Kotah. I will certainly stay again next time I'm in Kotah.

Front desk and other services are of poor standards. They are concern of their business not customer care. Poor level of courtesy demonstrated
