Pros - near tk Galata Tower - easy access to public transport - staffs are friendly and helpful The only a no go is room is too small for 2 person. It is more suitable for backpackers or solo traveller.

While the cleanliness was slightly below standard, and the bathroom had a musty smell, I honestly enjoyed my stay and would recommend it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The one issue I had with the smell was sorted by them providing incense sticks which left the room smelling wonderful. The breakfast spread was diverse and delicious with an amazing view of Galata tower and surroundings. There is great free coffee in the lobby. They have an elevator which is helpful with luggage. The lighting and artsy feel of the hotel added a special touch. And it is a very short walk to the Tophane tram station making outing and abouting very easy.

I think the property is perfectly located in the middle of the city. Super clean and caring staff. Boutique vibes room. The cleaning staff was very caring as well. Made my bed the way i like.

I've booked the hotel because of the Michelin Guide's aka Tablet's recommendation. Usually you can't go wrong with their lisitngs. Not this time. I have no idea why it belongs on their site 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤔🤔. Wait, it is not horrible...it is a hip too cool for school hotel with young people/artists who spray graffiti and showcase their art in the lobby. The rooms have good energy for sure. But it has this Hostel feeling when you're 22years old and you have a tight budget, traveling with a backpack. Here and there things are not working in the room. Water temperature fluctuates in the shower, shower water overflows, toilet seat moves left and right when you sit on it. Air ventilation in the bathroom makes an annoying noise when switched on... Internet connection goes on an off... Overall something you don't need to dwell on but still... The bed and bedding is of cheap quality, not uncomfortable but lower your expectations. The rooftop restaurant is cozy and nice. All staff was very friendly. I've paid around $60 per night for the room, which is ok (for Istanbul standards!) but everything over that rate would just be a rip off. I've seen the Hotel for way more money listed, so be aware of that. I don't regret having stayed there, it reminded me of the days when I rented my first apartment!
