    Great hotel. Very close to train station and coop supermarket. Breakfast also very good. Only downsides are wifi very slow and without elevators

    For location yes if you use train for car no very noisy because it's just few meters from train track parking when I booked supposed to be free but they charged 30 swiss franks also Steinbock it's first hotel when you come to the village super crowded up to the falls all vanities in hotel is from late 90 it the rooms need update because they are over used and the sheets it's like dark greenish or brownish I wasn't sure it's clean or not restaurant food not my style at all too heavy very limited selection of healthy food but close enough Coop you can buy no fridge in room to be honest I wouldn't choice the hotel anymore I'd rather pay more to have better quality of my holidays but stuff super friendly nice and no tired over tourism because swiss government supposed limited tourism this location it's beautiful but not worth it maybe if you go different months but if you don't have weather you can't enjoy at all

    Great location with train station 30 metres from hotel. Opposite side of road there’s the cable car ride so great spots to locate yourself. View from hotel is amazing. Food and drinks not badly priced for Switzerland too. We ate dinner in there and it was good quality dishes. The staff are helpful and loaned us an adapter for the plug sockets as we only had EU plugs on us. They even loaned us a corkscrew to open our wine. You do have to drink it in your room but we had a terrace with a great view of the mountains so didn’t mind at all. No lifts just staircase. Some of the rooms have shared bathroom facilities so you do hear folks during the night walking down the corridor bathroom. Thankfully we had a private bathroom. Room is small but it’s sufficient for a few days. I would recommend this hotel, but will say the train line is about 5 metres from the hotel so from 5:25am to around 11pm there’s trains about every half hour. No AC, we knew this prior to booking but even with patio doors open it’s warm.

    Toilets and showers were definitely clean, but can’t get around the inconvenience of it. If you’re ok with that, the location is unbeaten, literally in front of the station, and the price is a bit more affordable for the location. The free breakfast was ok, but there were a ton of houseflies buzzing around the raw food, didn’t go for the cheese.
