We never spurge on a premium place or room type but we did this time since it was our first vacation together. Hotel Sombra did not disappoint. The room, grounds, and the view were beautiful but it was the staff who really made our experience great. The only hiccup we had was a funny smell coming from the bathroom, that the staff diligently tried to fix but had a tough time. Also be advised (we didn't know this in advance) the grounds are on the the side of a hill (hence amazing views) but they provide golf cart shuttle service up/down as desired by an adorable chap nicknamed "Cookie" . It was walkable for us, we are in our 36/43 yo, pretty good shape. Thank you, team! You were the best part of our stay.
