Room was okay but toilet hygiene was very poor and not clean, used and smelling towels was provided by the hotel.

Washroom exhaust not working. Water in washroom stops coming early in morning and hotel staff casually says water tank may have not got filled. No change of soaps or towels are done by the hotel staff.

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) I recently stayed at Hotel Shree Palace in Katra, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. At the time of check-in, the room was not properly cleaned and had a strong unpleasant smell. The overall hygiene and cleanliness of the room were far below expectations. There were several basic facility issues as well. Some room hangers were broken, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, and basic amenities like shampoo and handwash were not available. There was no kettle in the room, and even drinking glasses were not properly provided. We were told that the rooms had been closed for some time, but that shouldn’t be an excuse for handing over a room that is not properly prepared for guests. The only positive thing was the view from the room, which was quite nice. Apart from that, the basic hospitality and room facilities need serious improvement. I would strongly suggest the owner/management personally inspect the rooms and maintain proper housekeeping before guests check in. This is a hotel, and guests expect proper cleanliness, hygiene, and basic amenities—not just a room with a good view. Overall, a very disappointing stay. Management needs to focus much more on cleanliness, hygiene, maintenance, and guest service.
