Hotel Royal Stay Dormitory

I stayed at Royal Stay Dormitory in Mumbai for 2 nights, and overall, my experience was very good. If you are travelling alone and looking for a clean, comfortable and reasonably convenient place to stay for 2–3 days or even longer, I would definitely recommend it. The dormitory is managed by two very cooperative caretakers who also handle the reception. The reception remains open 24/7, which is very convenient, especially if you have a late-night arrival or early departure. The location is excellent. It is just behind Inlaks Hospital, and almost everything you may need is available right outside the dormitory — restaurants, vegetables, groceries, daily-use items, and Chembur's famous Jhama Sweets is also nearby. Coming to the dormitory itself, the bed was clean and comfortable. Every bed has its own LED light , a small personal fan, one pillow and one blanket. For privacy, curtains are provided for every bed, which I really appreciated. The compartment has two ACs and two attached washrooms, along with a wash basin outside the washrooms. There is also luggage storage space below the beds, so keeping your bags organised is not a problem. Usually, the dormitory has people staying in around two levels of the three-level bunk beds, but the atmosphere was still peaceful. The amenities were clean, and most guests maintained a decent level of cleanliness and quietness. The caretakers deserve special mention — they were extremely cooperative and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience here. It is especially suitable for solo travellers, students, working professionals, or anyone visiting Mumbai for a few days who wants a clean dormitory with basic facilities, good privacy and a convenient location. Would definitely consider staying here again.
