    My spouse and I were attended to by Mr T Kako during check‑in. His fluency in English immediately stood out. He was consistently smiley, cheerful and welcoming. He took the extra effort to introduce authentic Japanese cuisine in Karuizawa and nearby attractions, even patiently sharing detailed information from leaflets. He carries himself calmly, is very polite and clearly takes pride in his work. Among the many hotel staff I’ve met in my travels, Mr Kako’s service is certainly a notch higher. The room cleanliness was excellent. The hotel’s location was convenient for getting around Karuizawa. Overall, our stay turned out better than expected, thanks to both the comfort of the hotel and the outstanding service.

    The breakfast has a good selection. The location is convenient and close to train station and outlet.

    Stayed here for 2 evenings as it was well-located near the station and within walking distance from most places. Only downside is that check-out is really early at 10am.
