    If you're travelling dharamshala mcleodganj, this place is very like away from the centre. It's not close to the main tourist attraction. So not worth the money. But the stay was fine. View was fine. Food was good. The property managers are rude and not helpful.

    I had a very disappointing stay at Hotel Red Carpet Dharamshala. I booked this hotel through Agoda for myself and my 2 kids. However, after confirmation, Agoda showed the booking as "3 adults" instead of 2 adults + 2 kids. At check-in, the hotel staff forced me to either pay an extra ₹450 or cancel my booking with no refund. They pressured me into paying ₹250 via GPay just to check in. To make things worse, the hotel is located far outside the main Dharamshala city. At 10:00 PM, I had no option but to leave and book another hotel in the main city because I couldn't enjoy the vibe or weather at this location. This was my 2nd booking on Agoda, and it was a terrible decision. I do not recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to enjoy Dharamshala. Very poor experience with both the hotel and the booking glitch.
