    The hotel is nice overall, but in my opinion it definitely does not feel like a 4-star hotel. Perhaps Portugal uses a different star-rating system, because I would describe this as a standard 3-star hotel. Our room faced the road, so it was quite noisy at night. The room itself was clean and small, but it had everything we needed. The biggest problem was the shower. The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower, and there is a metal towel rack installed right next to the shower. I accidentally hit my ear on it and cut it badly enough to bleed. I really don’t understand who thought it was a good idea to put such a dangerous metal rack in the shower area. I can’t imagine I am the first guest to get injured by it. Please be careful! The breakfast was tasty, with a good and varied selection. The pancakes, however, were terrible. The coffee was very good. The swimming pool was nice, although in the morning there were seagull feathers floating in the water. The air conditioning in the gym was not working, which made exercising very uncomfortable, especially in warm weather. The saunas apparently operate only during the winter. The location is good — about a 5-minute walk to the sea. There is a nice beach nearby, and in the evening it is lovely to walk along the promenade. There are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance. One important issue: the hotel’s location on Agoda is marked incorrectly. We were driving and spent quite a long time trying to find the hotel. Please correct the map location so that other guests don’t have the same problem. Overall, it is a decent hotel for the price, especially if you get a discounted rate. We booked it at a discounted price, so considering the price we paid, we were generally satisfied.

    Still trying to find where the 4 stars are. The bedroom was dirty with hair in the bathtub. The furniture were old and in a very bad shape. We ordered a double bed, and we had twin beds. Breakfast was OK but nothing exceptional. Coffee was Nescafé. No drop coffee or espresso machine. Staff was nice but helpless. Good thing… the location but to somewhere else….

    New location and hotel this year for us, hotel is in a good area close to the beach but we really missed not having a balcony

    Im sending this review as I was not informed that the bar is not open till June and the pool is being refurbished so no pool either
