    Staff helped to park car in private parking which was much appreciated. Great breakfast, best consistent eggs. Clean rooms, spacious bathroom.

    The towel was in a good location, the rooms were required. The bed was comfortable. Most of the staff was helpful, except for one particular desk clerk, however I would warn that this hotel is in a building and occupies only one floor… And the people living above in an apartment over my room were extremely noisy, and the front desk clerk didn’t care at all, so be warned.

    Hotel location is a 20 minute walk to centre which we did not mind. Had told hotel it was our anniversary but no effort made not even a glass of wine or chocolates- most hotels do something. Fan in room 103 not working, no air con, room was hot and stuffy, asked reception, lady said “ there is no aircon, open the window” which we did not do as we did not want noise and were trying to sleep. Breakfast was varied and fresh with excellent staff running around bringing Cappucino s on request. Gym was functional and the coolest room in the hotel but had to go down stairs to ask for the key then back upstairs, down a flight of stairs to access! All a bit odd
