Its an old fashioned hotel. The room had insects and smelled bad. We could not survive too long. We checked out with an hour checking in. They refunded original payment but charged 9 dollar.

We stayed for 6 days. Firstly on arrival they couldn’t find our booking and our room was not prepared we had to share a king room for 4 people first night than our room wasn’t ready until 12 the next day. Upon check in debit card wouldn’t work all of them and was told to take out the room cost from lobby atm which cost an extra 10% each transaction there plus your own card fees etc. our cards worked everywhere else apart from here which was weird. We had extra hot water for 2 days and than stone cold for 3 days which never went hot we told management on the Third day as we had enough of showering in the freezing water but was told it will be fixed and Dominican people like cold water. On the last night our shower was back to extra hot. Breakfast is an egg and bread or toast which I didn’t mind for the price it was ok. Never swam in pool green bottom although we did see pool cleaner cleaning it regularly. The areas ok very busy and local I personally wouldn’t recommend for solo female travellers though the men just stare at you like a piece of meat constant whistles and cat calls even though I was with my husband and children. A lot of great food options around and laundry next door which is drop off service cost is $30 for a big bag of clothing.
