    Skip the many B&B's to my opinion not worth it and just book this Hotel. Location is great - closed to the night market (not my thing), downtown and the seashore. Breakfast is OK, choices are reasonable for the price and the free coffee in the lobby is great and a great item to grab. Also free parking space in the back. Will stay here again next time.

    Les Champs is a middle level hotel, that has a great location in downtown Hualien. Exterior need some paint and TLC but rooms were clean and everything worked as it should. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Good value for what you get and located in the best part of town for walking and culture.
