We stayed here as a base to explore the Amafli coast. We drove in and the hotel has parking for a small fee, which is great. The host greeted us at the entrance and showed us where to park and even helped us with our luggage. It was easy. The staff are all very friendly. While the bus stops to Amalfi and Positano were either side of the hotel and very convient (€1.50 per person each way to positano), the busses fill up in both Amafli and Positano and by the time they get the Praiano they are pretty much full, people were waiting over an hour in the heat to try and get on the second or third bus. This wasn't for us and the lovely people at the hotel called us a taxi - which we shared with another couple from the hotel who had been waiting and missed the bus. The taxi company gave us their card and WhatsApp contact. It was €50 per couple each way Praiano-Positano and €80 each way Praiano-Amalfi. We thought this was perfect, no waiting, queuing, squeezing into tight public transport. We were able to explore the area in our own time and organised a pickup time and location with the taxi company. The hotel is quiet and clean and comfortable and we loved that it was away from the hustle and bustle. The absolute must try is our favourite cocktail, coffee, lunch, and dinner spot is about a 10min walk down the beach path (which you access next tot he church) - Cafe Mirante. Absolutely stunning. If we return to the Amalfi Coast we will certainly stay in Praiano again.

Quiet and peaceful on the bus route, 30 m to stop - bus to Sorrento and Amalfi, Positano. We preferred to stay quiet and then take boat trips from Amalfi. The charm is the sea not thousands of people in Amalfi, Positano! Breakfast is excellent and an amazing rooftop bar and restaurant. Staff will help you with anything!
