Hotel La Boheme is very small with very narrow winding stairs up to several floors (we stayed on 3rd floor) so if you are not very slim, fit and able with hardly any suitcases, this is not for you. It is a budget hotel so if you are just looking at the price, this hotel is good value for money because the receptionists like Edward and Astrid are really wonderful. Edward or Edvard was very friendly and helpful. Top marks for the friendly helpful receptionists, location and cleanliness. Low marks for room facilities: there are no cups or kettle. One has to go and up down those awful narrow stairs for hot water, coffee, tea. All free of course. It is a lovely quaint hotel nevertheless. It is not made for everyone but you must know what you need and can afford.

Everything about La Boheme is ideal - location, price, room, cleanliness - but what sets it apart is the friendliness of the staff AND their professionalism! I accidentally left my iphone in my room when departing to the airport very early one morning, and was out of the country before I realised. Astrid messaged me, found my phone and mailed it to me (in Spain!) assisted by Matthijs, Sebastiaan and team, and asked only for reimbursement of €*** mailing costs. I’ve stayed in five-star $***/night hotels that couldn’t do what Astrid and team did. I can’t recommend La Boheme enough.

Don't miss this little hotel, not being on all the lists of great places to stay. The breakfast was Amazing! The staff are fabulous and helpful. I slept really well in the basement single room and they courteously store luggage safely before and after check-in and check-out!
