    I chose this place because it was Agoda preferred and breakfast was included and thought that because it was AUD$30 more than everything else in the town, it must be good right? Ahhh, no. Chose a couples room with a queen bed and balcony/terrace, got twin beds with the woman at the front desk telling us to push them together. No balcony/terrace in the room. No lifts so had to drag 20kg bags up a set of stairs then up a weird ramp into the ‘budget’ rooms area. Couldn’t open the blinds because there were no privacy screens and the restaurant to be was opposite with workmen in it. Might be nice when they finish the renovations Acoustics in the room were terrible, could hear the man next door using the bathroom when our bathroom door was open. Can only assume he heard us too. Nothing was in the room like water, tea or coffee, you had to ask for it. Just a kettle to fill with non potable water… Beds were so uncomfortable. Thin worn out mattresses with the springs digging in all night. Breakfast was made and set out early and left uncovered so everything was cold by the time we got there. Location wasn’t great. It was in a residential area and was 20 minutes walk to the city centre. Would not stay here again and will not choose an Agoda preferred option again.
