Hotel Key Flushing

This hotel has done some work to improve their reputation and that includes the aesthetic; the floors and the bathrooms are upgraded and clean. Beds are high, sheets are pretty standard. The rooms are tiny and honestly it should be a little cheaper. Staff: overnight male desk is friendly and pleasant, dresses well and makes the place look nice; the woman working during the day is rude, unpleasant and had an attitude. Not the best look. Cleaning staff was nice and helpful. There's no breakfast, vending machines need to be restocked.... Overall it isn't the worst place especially since the location is close enough to downtown flushing and all the public amenities that it entails but it's a block or two away from the total congestion so it's a bit quieter, it also has a small parking lot

My stay was short.... and a spur of the moment... My booking elsewhere wasn't available at the time.... And just needed to sleep Got there very early in the morning... They let me book very early (a early fee tho since i checked in before 3pm) with no problem. And I came in around 230am The staff was real cool and helpful... Room was clean (a bit dusty in some areas) bed was comfy and bathroom was very clean and water was running well hot and cold! Walls was a bit thin tho I could hear people but they wasn't too loud... Area was safe...I had no trouble there.. Very close to buses to get around and good food spots!

Close to the 7, which is a quick ride to Manhattan. Great value for the money. Ideal for solo travelers.

Even though the parking lot isn't very big at all, and the furnishings of the rooms aren't conducive for longterm stays, the staff members and the cleanliness of the premises are more than welcoming and make up for the aforementioned shortcomings....for longterm stays, that is. Daisy and Elce are really instrumental in assisting with the welcoming of each client/patron and the gentlemen who are responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the rooms are diligent and attentive.
