Location is great the only thing is check in is at 3pm while the one on the website says 2pm. Hard to argue with them while u come from a long flight and in this scouring heat summer.

What we liked: Location, location, location! Waterfront was ideal in the port since we day tripped by ferry everyday. It’s so convenient to step out of the hotel and walk over to the ferry gate without taking taxis or buses to get there. The breakfasts were excellent and staff was was very friendly too. We also ate at the hotel restaurant on our first jet lagged night and loved our meal and the local wine was surprisingly good. There is an elevator lift to the top of the cliff only a few minutes walk from the hotel which makes it easy to visit the city. We loved Marina Grande, an old fishing village 15 minutes walk from the port area, it is a hidden gem, we loved Nduli Osteria di Mari which is a small family restaurant serving fresh catch of the day seafood . We loved the roof top pool bar after a hot day visiting around, so refreshing and a such a great view. Some small things we didn’t like: We had to leave the pool since it closed at 6PM which didn’t give us much time to relax after a day of sightseeing. Would have been nice if it was open until at least 7PM instead of 6PM. They said it was for pool cleaning but it’s actually so they can prepare and set up for their up scale sunset cocktail evening they promoted each day. So from 5:30 to 6:00 they would be moving & cleaning up tables and chairs around so you don’t feel welcome anymore and leave. The pool bar staff were very nice and apologized for the inconvenience which was out of their control. We chatted with another guest one day who went up at sunset with her 2 grown kids and they charged her 30 euros for 3 cokes so be warned. Lastly even though everything else was very clean, there was some mold along the bottom of the shower door rail, not what I expected for the price we were paying and it would only need a quick spray and a brush to clean it, not too hard to do. All in all the positives out weigh the small negatives and I would stay there again.
