    Around 10min drive from/to the airport. Very convenient for late arrivals and early departures. They have airport transfer at a cost of 10 dollar/pers BUT the driver is very punctual and professional, so the cost is worthy?! The staff is very friendly, helpful and well structured. Very good location-on the main road. Oh they have very delicious Indian dishes which I could recommend from their menu.

    I looked for hours to find the perfect place to stay after a long two weeks in Uganda. I was looking for, location, Air con, cleanliness and overall good vibes. This place was perfect. The bed was comfortable the staff were inviting and I loved how walkable it was to the mall, lake, spa. Book this place you will be happy.

    I had a reservation here but didn’t stay. I arrived at airport with precooked transfer from hotel and they didn’t show and I had to call them to send someone out to get me when I arrived at hotel at 9 pm with a safari pickup at 6:30am and was told the hotel was overbooked despite my reservation. I was told they would put me in a sister property instead. A quick google showed this sister property hotel speranza was clearly a rundown basic budget hotel with a rate about half that of hotel horizon. Despite this the initially tried to charge me the booked rate for a hotel that was clearly not the same. Eventually I got them to lower the rate to the last minute rate at the budget hotel but not its advance rate. Over bookings happen but clearly hotel horizon was trying to collect top rate and then place me in a budget hotel. Book at your own peril. I feel like they attempted to take advantage of me due to their own mistake of overbooking.

    On a main road. The hotel is run down. Finishes are aged and many are broken. After 2 days, left and booked elsewhere
