We were staying at the premium town, which means the new side with kitchen, good size of the room. However, the kitchen applicants were a bit let down, both pan and pot were damaged when we checked it. Went down to reception, staff only agreed to change the pan. No dish washing liquid available until request. And for the dryer, 100 yen for 15 mins, which is kind of ripped off. Breakfast is great, 5 stars however a bit understaffed and bit choctic during peak hours. Will I stay again? Maybe

Mould/dirt built along the showers. Went to reception but were told by the staffs that this is normal. Argued again with the staff then told that they can offer a room cleaning. Note: only a few staffs can speak English so the communication is hassle.

The hotel is about 20 min walk from Hakodate station but is is conveniently accessible to other attractions. To my surprise, it comes with a great onsen . And the buffet breakfast is a choice between Japanese or western buffet offered in 2 different restaurants. I have tried both and they are good too, especially the Japanese. Overall it is great value for money and is highly recommended.

Bad WiFi. Superior room did not come with washing machine. No dishwashing soap n sponge. No knife and cutting board.
