I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Explora Calicut! I originally planned to stay for just 1 day, but the experience was so good that I ended up extending it to 3 days. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but what really made the difference was the staff they are incredibly helpful and polite. Highly recommended if you are visiting Calicut! I will definitely stay here again.

Centrally located in a quiet neighbourhood in calicut .very clean spacious rooms and very friendly staff .it lacks a full time restaurant . Parking space is not adequate .facilities could improve

I stayed at Explora by Nova Hotel for two nights, and unfortunately my experience was disappointing.
The biggest issue was the parking. The hotel has very limited parking, and on both days of my stay my vehicle was blocked by other cars. The management did not seem to have an effective system to handle this, causing unnecessary delays and inconvenience.
Housekeeping was also very inconsistent. I had to call multiple times just to get my room cleaned, and even after the room was serviced, they often failed to replenish toiletries, drinking water, or provide fresh towels. I had to contact the front desk again to have these basic amenities delivered, which shouldn’t be necessary at a hotel.
The breakfast was another letdown, with limited options and poor overall quality.
The only positives were the good location and the spacious rooms, which were comfortable. However, the poor management, inadequate parking arrangements, and inconsistent housekeeping significantly affected my stay. I hope the hotel addresses these issues to improve the guest experience.
