Hotel Eleftheria

Apart from the staff, who are kind and friendly, nothing was right. The mattresses are extremely uncomfortable, and you can feel the springs, which makes the nights very unpleasant. There isn't even a blanket to sleep under. The bathroom is terrible. It is really very small, with absolutely nowhere to put your belongings. The shower is so poorly designed that water gets everywhere on the bathroom floor. The toilet is partly inside the shower area, which means the floor is constantly wet, even when you simply want to use the toilet. It is really unpleasant. I also used the hotel’s toilets before check-in, and they were absolutely filthy. This was not a good first impression. As for the air conditioning, it stops very often, which is absolutely not normal, especially given the temperatures. The Wi-Fi doesn’t works, which is also very inconvenient. The walls are also so thin that we could hear everything, literally EVERYTHING, which made the stay very noisy and far from relaxing. We also had a ground-floor room, and the staff prepared meals right outside our bedroom door. It was therefore impossible to have any peace and quiet or to rest properly. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

Had a mighty big hello when we arrived and instantly got shown to our room. Location was perfect, less than a 10 minute meander to the port and very close to a beach. Room had everything we needed for our time on Paros and a little table outside.

Next day after we checked in they started some construction work within premises. They told they are not providing any kind of food because they have closed for the season and will do all construction work. It was really a chaos , as entire 4 days it was horribly loud noise. We could not rest at all. Since morning 8 am they started with drilling and construction everywhere. We wanted to rest in afternoon for 2 days but we had to go out as the noise was unbearable. They should have stopped taking reservation if they have to do such work in the premises. Really bad experience And moreover, they were not accepting their fault and telling us does not matter life is like this accept and move on. Go out at 7 in morning .

There were bedbugs in my room and I contacted the owner with picture of the bugs and he did not answer. So, I called him and he accused me of lying about the bugs, saying took pictures of another hotel. He was extremely rude and not at all sympathetic to the situation. I had to contact the booking website to get my money back. Overall, not a clean room and staff was rude
