This is our 3rd stay here, fabulous historic hotel, immaculately presented in the centre of Santa Rosa. Excellent friendly staff. Highly recommended.

You can't beat the location of Hotel E! It's right in the middle of Santa Rosa in a renovated historic building with a clock tower and close to all that you might want to do in the city. It's incredibly charming! Service is great. The rooms are on the smaller side and in our specific corner room, the TV was located on the side of the bed rather at the head of the bed which made it awkward to watch anything. We also had big corner windows, but the view was the brick wall of the building next door and the back parking lot. However, the beds are really comfortable and the bathrooms are modern and sizeable. Since we were out for most of the day anyways, we didn't mind too much the issues with the TV placement and the view. Because of our specific room configuration, it may not have been the best for staying in and hanging out in the hotel room, but I think it's still a great choice as a base for exploring the area, especially if you want to explore Santa Rosa in addition to the rest of Sonoma County. I'd also note that the lobby is also quite nice so that can serve as more of a place to hang out and grab a glass of wine.
