During our recent stay, we experienced several issues that significantly impacted our overall experience.
To begin with, housekeeping failed to provide a proper blanket setup. Instead of giving us a ready-to-use blanket, only a blanket cover was placed in the room. In our two prior stays at the same hotel earlier that week, a proper blanket had been provided, so this inconsistency was surprising. When we contacted the staff at around 11 PM, we were told to either put the blanket into the cover ourselves or use just the cover, which is not an acceptable expectation from a hotel at this hour.
The following morning, when we raised this concern with the front desk, the response was disappointing. Rather than acknowledging the lapse, the staff argued that both the blanket and cover were provided separately and that we could have arranged it ourselves. This lack of accountability and poor customer service was unexpected.
Additionally, there were several other concerns:
The room floor was sticky and not properly cleaned.
The room lighting was inadequate.
The breakfast menu lacked variety and had very limited vegetarian options.
There was no bellboy service; guests were required to carry their own luggage.
There is no lift access from the ground floor, forcing guests to carry luggage up the stairs.
The hotel lacks a functional common washroom; the one available did not even have a proper door, making it unusable.
Overall, this has been one of the most inconvenient and disappointing hotel experiences we have had. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both service standards and basic amenities.
