    All staff were friendly and kind, especially lovely Ambre. The hotel has a list of restaurants and transport notes which were very good recommendations. I had wonderful meal. The room was also first class, spacious, bath, clean with a french design and a window out to the streets. Breakfast was a good selection of bread, cold meats, honey etc. I had a fantastic 5 days stay.

    We prepaid several months in advanced and requested a specific room. The night before we arrived I emailed to make sure all was well and was advised that we were to be given a different room due to “ unfortunately the room Stael will not be available for tomorrow, because an error occurred on the planning, it was allocated to other customers” We arrived at 11:30am and deposited our bags at reception and returned to checkin in at 4pm. No one bothered to tell us that we had been assigned a room with a broken air conditioner. All rooms on the 2nd floor were having issues. The receptionist had to check with the owner to see if we could be given a room on the first floor with a functioning air conditioner. The issue might be due to having prepaid. The room itself and bathroom/shower were perfect for a good nights stay. It was impossible to have an early check in or a late checkout. It was possible to have a functioning air conditioner if you complained.
