9.2 / 10Outstanding·Sep 2026
I had a fantastic stay experience at Hotel Chino. It's in a convenient location and easily accessible to all the nice restaurants, cafes and the lake front. The rooms were clean but a little outdated. Breakfast was OK. A little hidden tip for other guests is to come up to the 5th and 6th floor terrace for the fantastic view of the lake and mountains around Pokhara. What made my stay even better were the excellent staff. They were absolutely kind, friendly and professional at their job. Special thanks and appreciation towards the hotel owner Switey Shrestha, Bhupendra and other staff members Lalitha, Sushil, Himanshu and others who have made my stay in Pokhara an enjoyable experience. I would definitely return back to Pokhara in future and also totally recommend others to consider Hotel Chino when they come to Pokhara.
8.8 / 10Excellent·May 2026
Disappointing experience. The hotel does not have a backup generator, which can be a major inconvenience during power outages. Additionally, when there are excess guests, the staff may ask you to eat outside or wait 1–2 hours for food service. Better planning and guest management are needed to improve the overall experience.

Conveniently located with walking access to the lakeside and close up view of the lake from 5th floor and terrace allowing you to enjoy the beauty from the comfort of your hotel. Staff was most gracious and accomodating. Good for a stopover as well as a budget staycation.
