    The hotel is an ideal base from which to explore Durres and surrounding area including Tirana. It is located in a quiet side street only a minute's walk from the main street in Durres where there are plenty of places to eat and drink. Hotel is a lovely , well maintained building with lots of character including a top floor terrace giving lovely views of the old town. Breakfast was excellent, well prepared with a good choice of dishes . Cleanliness and upkeep of bedrooms is excellent and staff were very welcoming and helpful and available 24 hrs a day. They can organise day trips with their own drivers as well as very fairly priced airport transfers. I would be very happy to recommend Hotel Brais to my family and friends and would definitely stay there again should I return to Albania.
