    Recently renovated and painted. W ll maintained and clean. Breakfast and Dinner was buffet with limited options, but fresh and tasty food

    It was nice to stay at Blue Pearl from cleanliness, access to location.Hotel has a 7 KW charging point for EVs which is very much appreciated.

    I stayed there for two nights. First impressions - hotel looks a bit tired, just a few simple things it could make it better. Room - wallpaper peeling off in one corner, it doesn’t take long to glue it back on, ceiling had mould in the corner, it just need mould spray and cleaning it up. A bit more attention to details with cleaning, table had body hair, white towels looked grey, they were washed but looked dirty, bedding was old and in some places ripped. No fridge and no safe in the room. Hot water - it takes 10-15min to run hot water tap before you get hot water. What a waste of water! As most hotels we were expecting the room to be cleaned or asked if we want room cleaned, we came back late afternoon and nobody has been in our room to tidy it up, replenish tea and coffee or empty the bin. Restaurant - they don’t have a menu, loved the chef, he came out and asked what we would like to eat and he cooked it and it was tasty. He had a lovely character and made us feel special. Suggestion would be just make a small menu, simple, a few dishes what is available. Ladies at reception were also lovely, made us local coffee. Really welcoming. Hotel has a lot of potential and the staff are really nice but just need to step up a bit, organise a bit better and do minor repairs and make this hotel brilliant.
