Hotel Blu di Te

A stunning boutique hotel with exceptional design! The lobby feels like a cozy living room in a beautiful villa. We loved the rooftop pool terrace, where we spent afternoons with Prosecco and delicious snacks. The welcome drink and chef's bites made us feel instantly relaxed. Breakfast was a dream, featuring an unmatched selection of fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries), cheeses, cold cuts, and pastries. They even provide top-tier hair products for all hair types (though the retail bottles are too big for hand luggage). The staff is extremely sweet and helpful. Our only minor note is that the room lighting was a bit dark. Great tip from our stay: The walk to Portofino has expensive beach bars, but there are free public spots with showers tucked between them. It’s perfect because you can hike, explore, and swim without paying for a full day at a beach club!

We booked a Junior Triple Room with a balcony, but unfortunately, the room was still quite small and lacked a sense of spaciousness. The balcony was accessible through a small door, and the room felt rather dark and dim even with all the lights turned on. The air conditioning was only available in the guest rooms. The common areas, including the reception and breakfast area, were not air-conditioned, which was particularly uncomfortable given that temperatures were around 32 degrees C during the day. The breakfast selection was also quite limited and underwhelming. The service was generally adequate, but overall, the hotel did not provide the level of comfort we had hoped for. It was an average stay, but not one we would be eager to repeat.
