    Big hotel located in a large mall.

    I stayed at Bahia Sur with my partner for two nights. When it comes to Breakfast, it was quite good and we felt it was value for money. Location wise as well, the hotel is right next to a shopping centre which is a positive aspect. There was parking available for the clients of the hotel. However, the place is quite old and the pictures are deceiving. When we checked-into our room, it had an awful smell as though it hadn't been cleaned for weeks. In addition to that, there were some hair hanging at the terrace door and the furniture was raggedy. We requested one of the cleaning ladies to put some cleaning liquid into the toilet bowl to get rid of the smell and she was kind enough to do it right away. But, the room still stank. So, we had to inform at the reception. And fortunately, they provided us another room right away. Now, the new room was exactly the same except for the smell. The services weren't up to the mark. At night there were mosquitoes and we were really uncomfortable. It was quite difficult to sleep and it got really warm at night. And, we didn't have the option to change the temperature as there was only heating available. All in all, some changes should be made to update the furniture. There definitely should be an extractor in the washroom and they should check the room before letting the client check in.
