Overall, the hotel experience is still alright.
Pros:
1. 3-5mins walking distance from the JR train station and you can see trains passing by.
2. Clean hotel
3. Nice eateries and supermarket located just beside train station.
Cons:
1. Hotel does not storage of luggage. Hence, if you are arriving/departing before checkin and checkout time, need to book additional nights for it.
2. There's no laundry services in the hotel but there is coin laundry about 10-15 minutes walking distance from hotel.
3. Hotel does not allow overseas credit card payments. Their self check-in kiosks showed credit card payments is acceptable but transactions do not go through on their credit cards payment machine when I tried with Visa, MasterCard and even AMEX. Hotel staffs said it is due to security issue but the same credit cards can be used within Japan for other hotels. In addition, hotel does not accept cash and hence, the only option is payment via IC transportation card. This is a hassle if there's no sufficient funds in your IC card which guests then need to walk to station to top up and back hotel again for payment.

Stayed here for my Tokyo Marathon week, a bit far from Shinjuku but the transportation was easy. Location very near to the train station, just 3 minutes walk. It was a Self Service hotel, no staff around, and no luggage storage. Overall, its been a pleasant stay here.
