Was looking for a short stay over a weekend in central Rhodes. Being swamped with lots of hotels and being aware of a lot of fake reviews I final choose “Hotel Angela suites & Lobby.” Well, what a breath of fresh air. The place was a hit as soon as I saw it, set just back from the main shopping centre it was quiet, no busy road outside your window. The outside of the place was great with a little seating area with couches, tables and chair. A great place to sit and have a drink from the onsite bar anytime you needed some downtime. As to the hotel the lobby was bright clean and spacious with both comfy chairs and a bar. The receptionist was great had all my details, just need to pay the tourism tax. The receptionist was very polity and very smiley, willing to offer any assistance needed including tips on bars, restaurants and attractions. At the rear of the hotel was a swimming pool but didn’t get to use this in the short time I was there. Once in my room was stunned at how nice it was, sure you could find fault if you looked for it, but I’m sure you could find fault in Buckingham palace if you looked hard enough. For me I wanted a big clean comfy bed with lots of quiet and this had that in spades. Besides the bed the large wardrobe, build in, had coat hangers all matching and a safe which was free to use. Next to the wardrobe was a desk just encase you needed to do any work. The bathroom was nice, clean, very modern, had plenty of toiletries and lots of hot water day or night. As to sleep could not ask for better, big blackout curtains; being at the back of the hotel did not hear a thing. Breakfast was a real treat both plenty of it both hot and cold. A wide selection of cereals, fruits, breads, coffees, teas, fruit juices. And of cause lots of bacon, sausages, eggs and the like. Staff around if you wanted something warming up or maybe you wanted an omelette. Final comments great hotel, great accommodation and fantastic location. As to price I was envisaging paying at least double what they were charging; when you consider I was staying in central Rhodes over the easter weekend.
