I arrived at the hotel at 11pm and found no staff available to open the gate. I was left waiting outside in below freezing point at -7°C weather for 30 minutes, eventually reaching someone only after making costly calls on my U.S. cell phone. It then took another 20 minutes before staff arrived to open the door. The first room they showed me was small, moldy, and had an unpleasant smell, definitely not what I had booked. After I insisted them to give me the right room I had paid, they finally provided the correct queen-size room, which was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a bath tub. My advice: make sure you book and confirm the queen-size room. The smaller rooms are unacceptable and will ruin your travel mood for sure. Do NOT book this place if you plan to arrive after 6pm. The people working there will be gone and out of reach. You will ruin your holiday before it even began.

Check-in was difficult. I waited 20 minutes in the cold before finally reaching the host by making an expensive international call from my U.S. cell phone. Without that, I would have been stuck outside in –5°C weather.
That said, the double room itself exceeded expectations: spacious, clean, warm, with a large bathtub and fast internet. The location is about a 30-minute walk from city center attractions, so a car or taxi is recommended.
