    Firstly, the room is really rather small and the bed very hard, my back ached after 2 nights. Secondly, they took a credit card retainer, but we were surprised to find, when checking out that they'd used that card to pay for items charged to the room prior to check out. Never before has this happened to us, we had Euros to use up and a Curensea card to use, which we would have used instead! The location was really very good. Lots of parking around for our hire car, and easy access to ferry, public transport and lits of restaurants. The staff were lovely, the swimming pool had fab views, but you needed to book it 2 days in advance due to limited sunbeds. Everywhere was very clean. We were just a bit disappointed with a couple of elements. Including the lack of a new bottle of water per day, ypu only get one complimentary bottle on arrival. But there's a couple of small supermarkets nearby, so we just got our own and used the fridge in the room.

    I would definitely stay here again just for the facilities and the lovely staff. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, the spa is beautiful as is the rooftop pool/bar (only issue with this is that you need to book to use and unfortunately it was all fully booked for our entire stay from check in... bad system as I think people just block book just incase and don't even use it. Should just be first come first serve) The location is good and easy to get to everything, the rooms are average but comfortable (we upgraded to the superior room) but the highlight is the spa facilities, a lovely touch to this hotel

    The beds were comfortable, the place itself is nice, and the location is great. I understand that the price is quite affordable for a 4-star hotel, and it technically ticks all the boxes to earn those stars. However, some minor details show that the quality bar isn't actually that high, and you can feel some wear and tear. I wanted to attach some photos to show what I mean, but unfortunately, the system won't let me upload them for some reason. Here are the small details that made the place feel a bit less cozy than one might expect from the promotional pictures: Room condition: There were messy paint jobs, a bent trash bin, a worn-out shower head, and a shower door that doesn't fully close. Spa/Pool area: I noticed some rotting wood in the sauna and chipped or missing tiles in the pool. Tech/WiFi issues: The WiFi setup is quite strange. If you connect to the main network, your phone starts showing casting controls for what other guests are watching. Furthermore, if you want to stream YouTube or anything else to your room's TV, it is almost impossible to know which TV on the network is yours, as there are no options to pair your device directly to your screen. Soundproofing: It could be better. You can hear people passing by in the corridors and the TVs playing in the rooms next door. Despite these points, the stay was fine overall. I just hope these notes can paint a more realistic picture of the place for future guests!

    While the reviews seemed very positive, the reality is very different. Our bathroom was very smelly with sewerage smell (room 508). We received after multiple request another room and in this room the towels were dirty and with hair. Even the vanity kit was already open. The Indian receptionist guy that helped us was not friendly at all.
