    The location was clan and nice. The bed was too soft, but that was the only downside. Loved the ambiance and location. The rooftop had a great view.

    Fabulous breakfast ,wonderful service, well done interior. Nice rooftop bar/food. The block seems bleak and deserted but don’t let that deter. We walked 15 min to downtown for restaurants, farmers market.

    I was intrigued by the listing as it seemed like a quaint, boutique hotel that had local charm and history. It may have been at one point, but the place definitely could use an update. First, it's advertised that there is complimentary breakfast for guests, but apparently, rooms on the first floor have to pay $15 each. Second, the room doesn't have great ventilation apart from opening the window, which is a bit uncomfortable as it's on ground level and people sometimes walk by. The bathroom has some mildew on the roof that you can see they've tried to paint over. The location is walkable to downtown and close to the beach which is nice, and there is street parking just a short walk away. The person that checked us in was friendly enough. Overall, it's okay for what I paid, but had I known the above, I might have taken my chances with another hotel or paid a little bit more for guaranteed quality.
