Hostal Cisne by Nest

I came here in the middle of July and during the World Cup and it was a decent stay. The Wi-Fi was fine, check-in was easy, staff is very responsive by WhatsApp. There's a fridge and a stove and they clean the floors every day. There's a large ceiling fan in the basic room and the bed was fine. For a BACKPACKERS HOSTEL, it was a good experience. For those who do not speak Spanish this is NOT a hotel, it's a HOSTEL. Expect it to be like a dorm. People are here to party. You get a private sink but not a private bathroom for the basic room. The bathroom was still available most of the time and you can use another one down the hall. I showered here 3 times a day after the beach/shopping and I was given 2 towels for my 2.5-day stay. About me: I've stayed at backpackers hostels before and I expect that people are partying so I carry a noise machine so that I can sleep. I don't expect people to be that quiet and I do expect the walls to be paper thin. The bathrooms were dirty in the morning because of other tenants on one particular night but that was too early for staff to clean it. I can see why someone might feel that the price didn't made sense for the room size, but there was nothing else in Sant Antoni that was $100 a night and you're paying for the location because it is literally right in the middle of a metric ton of entertainment on all sides. I expected it to be louder really. I slept at night and in the afternoon. One suggestion I can make is that the hostal tries harder to make people close doors more quietly. This was the main problem with noise, people slamming doors at 4am every 30 minutes or so. I do appreciate that there is a quiet hours and a code of conduct which they make clear with signage. It is hard to keep drunk people from slamming doors at night, but it is something that could possibly be improved. Generally, service was kind and prompt so I can't complain about this little hostel. A private room shared bathroom and kitchen for 2 nights right by everything stores, restaurants, coffee shops, and a path walk to the beach for sunset and sunrise 🌅

The room temperature was so low that we couldn’t sleep a single night, there is no excuse for the room temperature to be this low. A 20€ heater would be a big difference

I would not recommend staying here. The accommodation was not what I expected based on the listing. The bed was poor quality and uncomfortable, and there was no air conditioning only a fanwhich wasn’t enough to keep the room cool. The customer service was also disappointing. I politely asked if I could use the bathroom, but the person in charge refused without showing any understanding or flexibility. Overall, I found the accommodation disappointing and the service unwelcoming. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to others.
