    My brother, my sister-in-law, and I stayed at the Hong Thai Hotel in Macau from July 1 to 2, 2026, and we were very satisfied with our experience. One of the hotel's biggest advantages is its convenient location. It is easy to find, and public buses are readily available nearby, making it very convenient to travel to Macau's major tourist attractions, shopping areas, and other points of interest. This is a great advantage, especially for first-time visitors and travelers who prefer using public transportation. Although Hong Thai Hotel is only a two-star property, it exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything a traveler needs for a pleasant stay. We appreciated the complete set of toiletries, complimentary drinking water, clean white bath and hand towels, and the thick, comfortable bedroom slippers provided. These thoughtful amenities made our stay more enjoyable and showed the hotel's attention to guests' comfort. The room was well-maintained, and the bed was comfortable enough to provide a good night's sleep after spending the day exploring Macau. The housekeeping standards were commendable, and everything we needed for a short stay was readily available. For budget-conscious travelers, Hong Thai Hotel offers excellent value for money. It provides comfort, cleanliness, convenience, and practical amenities that are often found in higher-rated hotels. If you're looking for an affordable accommodation with easy access to public transportation and reliable facilities, this hotel is definitely worth considering. Overall, we had a pleasant and hassle-free stay. I would gladly recommend Hong Thai Hotel to families, friends, and fellow travelers visiting Macau. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again on my next trip. Overall Rating: 9/10.

    We woke up at 1am in the morning, the cigarette smoke was strong. We called the staff and he just turned on the bathroom ventilation which didn’t help at all. We then decided to open the window for additional ventilation but it just made it worst. We booked a non-smoking room but then we saw cigarette butts when we opened the window. We just decided to stay for the night instead of the initial 3 nights.
