I’m a frequent traveler to Japan and I’ve stayed at many different types of accommodations here. Holiday Pearl Hotel was a very pleasant stay and they kindly left a key for me as I arrived past front desk hours. My room had 2 beds so it gave me a lot of extra room, bathroom was tiny as expected, overall the hotel was very quiet, everything was clean in and out of the room including the AC unit (often times places don’t bother to clean these), bedding was comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful when I needed them to hold my luggage after checkout. The only issues for me were that they should use recyclable slippers or same as entry slippers for the bathroom because the foam rubber ones they have are used and that material can’t be properly cleaned….and secondly, there was a slight sort of “dirty shoe smell” upon arrival in the room, however the room is equipped with non-scented deodorizer spray so I was able eliminate it enough by spraying around the room and carpet, as well as us it to keep my clothes fresh after going out for food.
The only downside to this hotel is the location, you’re going to need to take the bus to and from the closest station unless you want to walk 45+min. Other than that, it’s close by konbini, supermarkets, discount market, some restaurants/izakayas, 2nd-hand stores, other shops, and a pretty nice park.
