This is the best stay we’ve had all year and we travel A LOT all over the southeast for my son’s golf tournaments. The staff here is exceptional: accommodating, professional, & kind. Everyone is so nice and made my family and I feel welcomed. Anything I needed was met with ease and a smile while other hotels would act as if we were bothersome. Our check-in experience was phenomenal Thursday night, 12/18 around 9pm (hopefully this will help track down the staff member to give her credit). She provided the warmest customer service. She even asked which floor we’d prefer. I don’t think anyone has ever bothered to ask, we usually would have to make the request first. She had no problems getting the first floor as we always travel with a lot in tow considering our golf gear. She mentioned that free coffee was 24/7 around the corner (high plus for my husband to save him time from getting coffee outside the hotel so he could get to the golf course in time) as well as the free hot chocolate station which my son loved. One day he used it 3x as he was addicted lol. Staff members gave us a warm greeting every time we passed them in the hallway, even the 2 nice young maintenance gentleman. My family and I enjoyed the festive holiday decorations in the lobby and dining room. It appears a lot of thought was used. Whoever is responsible for hiring the staff at this location is doing an excellent job.
The sink is located outside the bathroom in our room which I think is genius so that the person using the bathroom is not also tying up the sink.
The only downside was that the room was not as spotless as I’d expect. There was a strand of hair found on the toilet seat and the same type of hair also in the bathtub. The sink did not look clean. There was dirt & debris in the sink along the edges.
